Social Media Manager

Are you a focused Social Media Account Executive or Account Manager looking for a contract role to start asap through to December 2026.

Our client is looking for an outgoing & highly organised social media specialist to join our team, based in our Sydney CBD office 5 days a week. You are ideally an outgoing, motivated individual with at least 2 years’ experience in content, ideally including social and digital channels/ influencer and talent management / channel and community management. Agency experience is preferred but not essential.

You will be working with a small but dynamic existing team of savvy marketers for one of the agency's major accounts on all things Digital, Social & Comms. In this role you be executing across all major social channels and working with the team on day-to-day content activity. There is also the opportunity to be a part of the strategy & creative planning for the right candidate.

In this role, you will be required to:

  • Demonstrate you are socially active on key social platforms (Meta and TikTok) and be enthusiastic about contributing creative ideas and knowledge of key trends both internally and via client reporting.
  • Assist in researching best practice across traditional / non-traditional competitors to ensure best-in-class social content.
  • Work with the AM to manage the always on content calendars and day-to-day community management across Meta (Facebook and Instagram) & TikTok
  • Work with the team on content scheduling, management & identify User Generated Content
  • Assist in sourcing and managing new and existing social influencers & talent.
  • Assist with weekly, fortnightly & monthly reporting along with monitoring of social media trends. Being socially savvy and having an extremely thorough understanding of all platforms is crucial in this role.
  • Be highly organised with a proven attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask
  • A must be a team player but also capable of managing tasks autonomously
  • Develop strong and genuine client / stakeholder relationships – ideally have a confident & outgoing personality who has experience being a trusted key point of contact when required.
  • Have the right cultural fit and attitude, and a passion for all things Social and creative!
