Account Manager - Media
Our client is a data-driven global marketing agency under the umbrella of a global network. They are fairly new to New Zealand and are growing fast. They are looking for an Account Manager to join their team. As an Account Manager your main responsibilities are to manage and execute media campaigns, from start through to completion. You will work closely with the Business Director to maintain quality control of the media campaigns and continually evaluate and improve performance against client goals. You will be working collaboratively with the internal team, various specialist teams and media owners and other external agency partners. In this role you are responsible for junior to mid-level client relationships ensuring everything is running smoothly and that all questions are answered in a timely manner, in accordance with the agency client service expectations. In addition to being involved in the planning of campaigns, you will be at times required to buy media campaigns (working with both specialists in TV and digital channels). The right person for this role will have at least 18 months of relevant media and client management experience, with implementation planning capabilities and understanding of media principles and finance. You will be conversant in the role of each channel and ability to provide justification / rationale and have well-developed time and project management skills, with good adherence to deadlines.
