Graphic Designer 

Are you a Graphic Designer looking for a new permanent role you can own and produce an amazing variety of briefs, and turn your hand to a range of skills?

This role is part of the team responsible for delivering high-quality services to their members and partners. As the Graphic Designer, you will be the creative lead, supporting the team to communicate their key messages, initiatives and policies.

Key accountabilities:

• Visual design: Deliver clear, effective design that supports the brand story and connects with key audiences
• Creative concepts: Develop strong ideas that communicate priorities, programmes and messages
• Branding: Apply and evolve the brand consistently across all channels
• Digital media: Produce clean, engaging graphics for web, social and email that cut through and support campaigns and events
• Customer experience: Design simple, accessible experiences that are easy to use
• Collaboration: Work with communications, policy and events teams to turn complex material into clear visual outputs
• Photography and video: Maintain a high-quality, consistent visual library and produce short form video content for website and social media
• Project management: Manage multiple projects, set priorities and keep stakeholders updated to deliver on time. 

Desired experience:

• A relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience
• At least two years' experience in graphic design
• Experience developing engaging digital content for multiple platforms and audiences
• Experience in filmmaking and/or animation would be helpful

Desired attributes:

We are looking for someone who has:

• A great design eye and proficiency with all appropriate design software (Adobe CC with working knowledge of tools like Figma, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro)
• Well developed videography and editing skills
• A creative and innovative thinker who is not afraid to challenge the status quo, produce clever solutions and has the can-do attitude to make them happen
• Strong attention to detail
• A team player who is comfortable taking ownership and can cope with multiple deadlines
