Business Development Manager

Our client is an agency is based in both Adelaide and Darlinghurst, Sydney – The client is open to candidates from Sydney, Melbourne, or other states and happy for this role to be 100% remote.

They are a visual content agency creating top-notch animations, video and illustrative-led designs for brands all over Australia and beyond. They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team and drive expansion into new markets, both locally and globally. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create and implement strategies to drive new business opportunities and achieve sales targets, focusing on B2B sales within the visual content and animation industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects, ensuring high level client satisfaction.
  • Leverage network and industry connections to expand the company’s reach, targeting major brands and new markets both locally and globally.
  • Utilise Hubspot CRM to log deals, update contact activities and manage prospecting efforts to streamline sales processes and track performance.
  • Work closely with the creative and support teams to align client needs with relevant service offerings.
  • Focus on delivering real, actionable solutions to clients, emphasising long-term relationships and value beyond immediate sales. 

 

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of B2B sales/business development experience.
  • Some agency experience—more is better!
  • Experience with bigger brands and a strong network of connections.
  • A passion for providing real solutions to clients, not just making sales.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM, including logging deals, updating contact activity, and prospecting existing customers.
  • Pride in your work and a desire to grow your career in a place you can call home.
  • A thirst to win and succeed for yourself, the company, and clients.
