Strategist
Would you like to work with a growing Auckland indie agency, located in Central Auckland? Our client is on a hunt for a Strategist to join their team.
This is a busy agency, who have a wide range of clients, including retail, charity, B2B, agriculture and finance. Their projects include TV, Radio, OOH, DM and Digital.
This role bridges consumer insights and creative ideation, uncovering cultural trends, developing data-informed strategies, and crafting compelling brand narratives to solve client challenges, acting as a key link between data, creative, and client teams for impactful campaigns. You will analyse market data, facilitate brainstorming, build strong client relationships, and translate insights into actionable, culturally relevant strategies that challenge conventions.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in brand and/or advertising strategy at a creative or advertising agency
- Proven ability to build brands and drive strategic thinking across complex campaigns
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong positioning, campaign strategy, and strategic storytelling
- Fluency in research tools, consumer insights, competitive analysis, and cultural trends
- Clear, compelling communication skills — both verbal and written
- A collaborative spirit, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a passion for creative work that makes a mark
