Product Manager - Freelance

Our client is a financial empowerment platform designed to help women improve their financial IQ and make better financial decisions. They are in the process of developing and launching their web-based platform, and require a freelance Product Manager to work remotely on a 2 - 3 week project.

You will help shape the user experience of this online product during a critical phase of development. This role is ideal for a hands-on Product Manager who excels in UI/UX collaboration, data visualization, and fintech product design. You will work closely with their UI Designer to refine the platform’s design, ensuring the experience is intuitive, engaging, and aligned with their mission. Additionally, you will leverage financial data to craft compelling insights and interactive features, guiding the team with wireframes, storyboards, and data visualization ideas.

Key responsibilities
• Work closely with the UI designer to refine the site user experience
• Create wireframes, user flows, and storyboards to guide the development team
• Identify opportunities to leverage financial data to enhance user engagement
• Define data visualizations, graphs, and financial insights that make information digestible and actionable
• Ensure product features align with user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
• Provide recommendations for future iterations based on user personas and behavior

Who you are
• Experience: 3+ years in product management, preferably in fintech, financial literacy, or SaaS
• UI/UX understanding: Strong experience working with designers to craft intuitive, user-friendly experiences
• Data-driven mindset: Comfortable working with financial data, identifying key insights, and presenting them effectively
• Prototyping skills: Familiarity with tools like Figma, Miro, or similar for wire-framing and concept design
• Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with designers, developers, and stakeholders

Bonus Points if you have
• Experience working in a financial education, personal finance, or fintech product
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles
• Experience in storytelling with data to improve engagement
