We are working with a well-regarded Sydney-based portrait studio to find a personable and technically strong freelance photographer to join their team. A large portion of the studio’s work includes boudoir photography, so emotional intelligence, discretion and the ability to create a safe, comfortable environment are essential.

The Role

As a Freelance Photographer, you will:

• Lead studio portrait sessions across a range of settings, including boudoir, family and group portraiture.
• Engage clients throughout sessions to capture natural expressions and authentic connections.
• Provide confident posing guidance with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Manage studio lighting setups and composition to deliver high-quality, consistent imagery.
• Represent the studio with a polished, reliable and professional presence.

What We Are Looking For:

• Proven experience across a range of studio settings
• Strong technical expertise in studio lighting and direction.
• Highly personable, emotionally intelligent and confident managing varying comfort levels.
• Reliable, honest and passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences.
• Sales experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Available consistently Wednesday through Saturday.
• Comfortable working in a contractor capacity.
